Who we are
77Touch is a football app created and run by Munashe Leon Garande, based in the United Arab Emirates. For anything about your data, email 77touch.hq@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Accounts: your email address and password (stored scrambled, we can't read it).
- Teams and groups: what coaches and organisers enter: team name, badge, kit colours, players' names, positions, shirt numbers, and optionally a photo and the country a player represents.
- Games: availability answers, line-ups, goals, assists, ratings, coach comments, Man of the Match votes and training attendance.
- Player profiles: if a player makes an account: the profile name, photo, bio, country and the privacy choices they made (with the date and wording they agreed to).
- Clips: videos or links you send, the description, your name and contact details, and the permission given (including a parent or guardian's for under-18s).
- Award votes: which nominee your account voted for.
- Visit counts: page, country, device type and buttons tapped — no cookies, no IP address stored (see the cookie policy).
Why we use it
- To run the app: show who's available, record games, keep stats and build player cards.
- To feature clips and players — only with permission, and only where you allowed it.
- To keep it safe: stop spam, duplicate votes and misuse.
- To improve 77Touch, using visit counts that don't identify anyone.
We never sell your data and we don't use it for advertising.
Who can see what
- Ratings and coach comments: only that player (through their private card link or account) and the team's coaches.
- Match links: anyone with the link sees the squad names and who's available — never phone numbers or email addresses.
- Public profiles: only if a player aged 18 or over switches it on. Contact details, injuries, ratings and comments are never public.
- Clips: private until reviewed, and only shown where permission was given. Permission can be withdrawn at any time.
- The 77Touch owner: can see submitted clips, player codes and counts to run the community features. Private ratings and comments aren't shown there.
Children
Young players can be in a team on 77Touch, added by their coach. Public profiles are for adults only. Clips of anyone under 18 are only used with a parent or guardian's permission. Coaches are responsible for having permission to add young players and their photos.
Where it's stored
The app is hosted by Vercel and the data is stored by Supabase (database and file storage). Both are security-certified providers that process data for us under their data-protection terms. Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS).
How long we keep it
While your account or team is in use. Withdrawn clips are removed from 77Touch; files are deleted shortly after. Visit counts are kept as totals. When you ask us to delete your account or data, we do so unless we must keep something for legal reasons.
Your choices and rights
- See, correct or download your data — coaches can download stats; players can download their card and stats.
- Switch your public profile off, unlink a team, or withdraw a clip's permission at any time.
- Ask us to delete your account or a player's data: email 77touch.hq@gmail.com.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top. Big changes will be shown in the app.
